Satchels Pizza Grant Program
Grant Guidelines
- Up to three grants per quarter will be awarded for up to $500 each.
- Grants are awarded quarterly according to the following calendar.
Application Deadline | Notification of Award and Disbursement of Funds on or before:
DECEMBER 31 | JANUARY 22
MARCH 31 | APRIL 22
JUNE 30 | JULY 22
SEPTEMBER 30 | OCTOBER 22 - Organizations that are not awarded a grant will also be notified and are free to revise and resubmit their grant proposals.
- Grants will not be awarded to any organization more than once every two years.
- We require recipients to provide documentation of how funds were used in the form of receipts. Receipts are expected to arrive within 90 days of receiving a grant.
- Digital photos and video of funded projects are greatly appreciated, but not required.
Eligibility Guidelines
- Organization impacts the residents of Alachua County.
- Organization provides charitable or educational services that benefit the community.
- Organization is an educational or non-profit entity.
Apply using your own paper or Non-profit letterhead and make sure we have all of the following information. If you leave information out, it may weaken your chance for selection.
Please provide the following:
- Name of Organization
- Non-profit Tax ID Number
- Address of Organization
- Phone Number
- E-mail address
- Describe your organizationÕs mission.
- Clearly explain your proposed project and how it will benefit our community. Be sure to specify what outcome your project hopes to achieve. We prefer that your request for funding not be for normal operating costs.
- Include a budget in which you explain how much money you are requesting and how you will use the funds. If your projectÕs costs are not completely covered by the grant, explain how you plan to make up the difference.
- Provide information on how you will measure your success.
