i tell you, without showing pictures of my kids, i got nothing to show. that’s my life, those kids. pizza is like my hobby.
tonight we tried out our new guest paging system, much to the hostess’ dismay. a friday night is not the night to try out something new, but… well… my bad.
anyway, so many people were leaving with our coaster pagers that i had to do something. so, this new system calls your cell phone when your table is ready. no pagers to get stolen or lost. well… it took some figuring out. turns out half the numbers of people’s phones are long distance, which i never considered. meaning, our long distance bill is going to go crazy. and there are other glitches too but nothing we can’t work through. it was stressful for me, and the hostess, but we made it. the pies were awesome as usual. we didn’t have a single mistake.
next week we’ll start the long process of digging french drains and trying to work out our drainage problems. we’ve got a pretty good sized property there and a lot of water to manage when the big rains come. i’m going to try not to let it stress me out.
i saw half of the holopaw show last night at common grounds. i thought they sounded better than ever.
