a couple (or was it a few?) years ago i went to new york to see my favorite painter at the met and ended up eating at 13 pizza places in 3 days. in fact, pizza was ALL I ATE for 3 days. it was heaven i tell you. i blogged all about it but have no idea how to find it now… anyway, my favorite place was totonno’s, but my SECOND favorite was di fara’s. i couldn’t believe how his pies looked…. the photo above is one of his pies. it was amazing. it looks awful but you should trust me here.
anyway, different strokes for different folks. i like my steaks medium or medium well and some people think that makes me a redneck. i like budweiser. i like boiled peanuts and i love grits. i also love a good charred pizza. it can be a struggle to cook for hundreds of people who love a golden brown… but we push the envelope. we do.

a bunch of photos showed up on a disc in my box. my box is a tray in the office, there are a stack of trays for various big dogs and my tray is where people would put stuff that comes in for me to look at. you know- like an actual inbox thing. anyway- a cd appeared there and these are some pics from that cd. maybe there were names on the cd… i should try and figure out who took these…
