The annual pinecone contest
Each calendar year we have a contest to see who brings the biggest, smallest, ugliest, or prettiest pinecone. This is a big deal. Find a cone, bring it in. There's even a song, the pinecone jam.
photo contest
Send us a photo of you with a Satchel's t-shirt on or holding a bumper sticker. Best photo wins a large pizza and salad and bottle of wine. Photos will be judged when we have 15 entries. Submit only one photo per person, although more than 1 person can be in the photo. Think big - like you wearing a Satchel’s shirt at the Eiffel tower or the whole family wearing Lightnin’ Salvage shirts in front of the Statue of Liberty... No photoshop!
video contest
Send us a link to your homemade video (no more than 5 minutes.) Can be on youtube or vimeo. Should be a plug for Satchel's or LSE. We will judge once we have at least 7 videos. Winners will receive free deep dish pizza, large salad, and pitcher of beer.
pizza box coloring contest
Our large pizza box has a cut-out van on the top. Make your van and send us photos. Some winners will receive prizes. Send your photos to satchels@cox.net.
